Animals and Dogs

For the safety of our school community, dogs and other pets are not permitted on school grounds at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, arrival and dismissal periods, school events, and any time students are present on campus.

Even the most well-trained and friendly animals can act unpredictably in a busy, high-energy environment such as a school. Recent incidents have highlighted the potential safety risks posed when animals are brought onto school property.
Exceptions:

• Certified service animals assisting individuals with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Animals approved in advance by school administration for educational purposes or special events.
